can apply for the Local Bank Officer position at Bank of Baroda?
Candidates
must:
- Be Indian citizens
- Hold a graduate degree in any discipline
(including IDD programs)
- Have at least 1 year of
post-qualification experience as an officer in a Scheduled Commercial
Bank or RRB
2. Can
experience in NBFCs or Small Finance Banks be counted?
No.
Experience in NBFCs, cooperative banks, fintechs, or payment banks is not
eligible. Only officer-level experience in Scheduled Commercial Banks or RRBs
is considered.
3. What
is the salary structure for Local Bank Officers?
The
pay scale begins at ₹48,480, with periodic increments, reaching up to ₹85,920,
as per the JMG/S-I scale.
4. Is
the exam pattern objective or descriptive?
The
initial online test is objective and consists of 4 sections:
- English Language
- Banking Knowledge
- General/Economic Awareness
- Reasoning & Quantitative Aptitude
There
may also be psychometric tests, group discussions, or interviews,
depending on the shortlisting process.
5. Can
I apply for multiple states?
No.
Candidates are allowed to apply for one state only, and must be
proficient in that state’s official/local language.
