Can Apply
Applicants
must not exceed 55 years of age as of 17th July 2025. The
educational and professional experience requirements vary slightly by role:
- Planning & Procurement Engineer:
Requires a degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, with 4 years
(degree) or 7 years (diploma) of post-qualification experience.
Preference will be given to candidates with certifications in Project or
Construction Management.
- Drawing and Design Engineer/S&T:
Candidates need a degree or diploma in Electronics, Communication, or
Electrical Engineering. The post demands at least 4/7 years of
experience in railway signaling design.
- Design Engineer/Civil:
Must hold a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. A postgraduate
degree in Structural Engineering is a bonus. Requires 4 years of
experience, including 3 in designing railway infrastructure like bridges
and tunnels.

Selection
& Interview Process
The selection
is purely based on an interview, which will evaluate both technical
knowledge (65%) and personal/professional traits (35%). Candidates must score a
minimum of 60% (UR/EWS) or 50% (SC/ST/OBC/PwD) in the interview
to qualify.

RITES
Ltd. offers an attractive contract-based compensation structure. Degree holders
can expect a monthly basic pay starting at ₹22,000, which increases with
experience, reaching ₹35,304 for those with 16+ years. Yearly CTCs range
from ₹4.8 lakh to over ₹7.7 lakh. Diploma holders are compensated
proportionately, with benefits aligned to their qualifications and experience.
What’s
more, salaries are reviewed annually with a 3% hike for each additional
year of relevant experience. Actual pay will vary based on the posting location
and other appointment terms.
