What is the pay for the post of Scientist

On selection the candidate will be eligible for Pay level 10 and on joining he will get approximate salary of Rs.1,14,945/- as explained in the official notification.

Selection Process for the post of Scientist in BIS

For selection of Scientist there will be shortlisting of candidates for personal interview on the basis of valid score of  Graduate Aptitude Test of Engineering (GATE)  i.e. Gate 2023, Gate 2024 and Gate 2025 ando Only the shortlisted candidates will be called for Personal Interview. There will be  Document Verification process also.  The date of  interview will be intimated later on the official website of BIS. The final merit list will be on the basis of merit as determined by the aggregate marks obtained by 85% weightage to GATE Score and 15% weightage to the marks obtained in interview.
