🎓 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Arts / Science / Commerce or equivalent from a recognized university.

Age Limit

• General Posts: 18–42 years (as on 01.01.2026)
• DSP Post: 18–27 years (as on 01.01.2026)

Relaxations:

• SC / BC of Haryana – 5 years
• PwBD – 5 years (+ additional relaxation if SC/BC/EWS)

👮 Physical Standards (For DSP Post)

• Male: Height – 5’7” (170.18 cm), Chest – 33” (83.82 cm), Expanded – 34.5” (87.63 cm)
• Female: Height – 5’2” (157.50 cm)

👉 Chest expansion of 1.5 inches (3.81 cm) is mandatory for male candidates.

📑 Selection Process

The recruitment will be conducted in three stages:

1️⃣ Preliminary Exam (Screening Only)

• Two papers:
• General Studies – 100 marks
• CSAT (Qualifying) – 100 marks (minimum 33% required)
• Negative marking: 0.25 per wrong answer
• Marks of CSAT not counted in merit, only qualifying.

2️⃣ Main Written Exam

• Six papers (Essay type, 3 hours each):
• English (Essay included) – 100 marks
• Hindi (Essay included) – 100 marks
• General Studies I–IV – 100 marks each
• Total: 600 marks
• Minimum 45% aggregate required (33% in English & Hindi individually).

3️⃣ Personality Test / Viva-Voce

• 75 marks
• Tests mental alertness, leadership, social traits, integrity, and general awareness.

👉 Final Merit: Based on Main Exam + Viva-Voce (675 marks).
