✅ Essential Qualification

• MBBS or equivalent degree recognized by MCI/NMC

🧪 Essential Experience

• Minimum 4 years post-MBBS experience in biomedical research

🎯 Desirable Qualification

• MD/MS or equivalent (considered as 3 years’ experience)
• OR MPH from a recognized university
• OR Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences (considered as 4 years’ experience)

1. Who can apply for Scientist-C (Medical)?

Indian citizens with MBBS + 4 years’ experience in biomedical research. MD/MS or PhD holders are also eligible.

Yes. Upper age limit is 40 years, but relaxation may be granted for exceptional candidates with DG-ICMR approval.
