📝 Application Process

🎓 Educational Qualification

           Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.

           Must have English shorthand speed and English typing speed as prescribed in the exam scheme.

           Qualification is determined by the Marksheet Issuing Date.

🧾 Age Limit

           As per UKPSC rules (generally 21–42 years for Group ‘C’ posts).

⚖️ Reservation Rules

           Candidates must mark their vertical (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) and horizontal (PwD, ExServicemen, Women) reservation categories in the application form.

           Without proper claim, reservation benefits will not be granted.

           EWS certificate must be valid for FY 202526 (based on FY 202425 income).

📚 Selection Process

The recruitment involves two stages:

Stage 1: Practical Test

           English Typing Test (Qualifying/Compulsory)

           English Stenography Test

           Candidates must qualify this stage to move forward.

Stage 2: Written Examination

           General Knowledge (Objective type)

           English Language (Conventional/Descriptive type)

Document Verification

           After qualifying, candidates must produce selfattested copies of certificates.

           Discrepancies between claims and certificates will lead to cancellation.

Step 1: Visit the official website

           Go to: psc.uk.gov.in (or ukpsc.net.in for application)

           Open recruitment page: Tap the Personal Assistant (High Court) 2025 advertisement.

           Read “How to Apply”: Check “Advertisement Details,” “Important Dates,” and “Instructions.”

Step 2: Primary registration

           Open Registration form: Tap “Apply Now.”

           Enter basic details: Name, DOB, category/sub-category, mobile number, email, and create a password.

           Verify entries: Review the “Basic Information” shown.

           Confirm: Tick “I have verified all the details…” and submit. If corrections are needed, choose “No, I want to change some details,” edit, and resubmit.

           Note: You’ll receive confirmation via SMS/Email. Tap “Click here to login.”

Step 3: Fill educational details

           Add High School: Enter board, year, roll number, and marks/grade; tap “Add Education Details.”

           Add Intermediate and Graduation: Repeat adding each qualification. Use the correct Marksheet Issuing Date in the result date field.

           Edit/Delete if needed: Use the icons next to each entry to correct mistakes.

           Continue: After adding all education, tap “Continue.”

Step 4: Upload photo and signature

           Follow on-screen specs: Upload a recent passport-size photo and a clear signature as per size/format instructions shown on the page.

           Re-upload option: Tick “I want to upload photo and signature” if you need to replace files.

           Declare correctness: Tick “I hereby declare that the photograph & signature are correct…” and continue.

Step 5: Review and final submission

           Preview form: Check all sections carefully (personal, reservation, education, uploads).

           Fix errors (before final submit): Tap “Back & Edit” to correct any mistakes.

           Submit: Tick the final declaration and tap “Final Button” to complete the application.

           Print: Tap “Print Application” and save a copy (PDF + paper print) for future use.

Step 6: Fee payment

           Mode: Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, or UPI only.

           Deadline: Pay by 14 January 2026 (11:59 PM).

           Category-wise fees:

           UR/OBC (UK) / EWS (UK): ₹150 + processing/tax ₹16.36 = ₹166.36

           SC/ST (UK): ₹60 + processing/tax ₹16.36 = ₹76.36

           PwD: Processing/tax only ₹16.36

           Orphans in state-administered homes: No fee

           Note: Fees are non-refundable. If not paid on time, the application will be rejected.

Step 7: Cancel and reapply (if you made a mistake)

           When allowed: Only before the last date for applying.

           How to cancel: Tap “Cancel My Application,” read and tick the declaration, submit, enter OTP received on your registered mobile, then confirm “Cancel Application.”

           Reapply: Submit a fresh application and repay the required fee.

           Important: Claims from a cancelled application will not be considered.

Step 8: Correction window (Edit/Correction)

           Window opens: 5 working days after the last date to apply.

           Duration: 10 days only (20 January 2026 to 29 January 2026).

           Login: Use your email ID and password.

           What you can edit: Most fields including name, DOB, category/sub-category, gender, etc. Mobile number and email cannot be changed.

           Update rules: Complete the Edit/Correction process and submit; the “Edited Data” becomes final.

           Fee impact: If you change to a category/sub-category that affects fee, pay the difference. No charge for edits that don’t change fee.

 Step 9: Keep documents ready for verification

           Mandatory at DV: Self-attested copies of application printout, detailed form, declarations, educational certificates, reservation certificates (vertical/horizontal), domicile (if applicable), NOC (if employed), ID proof, and photographs.

           Reservation claims: Must match the formats and be valid by the last date to apply.

 Step 10: Admit card and exam updates

           Admit card: Download only from the UKPSC website; it won’t be sent by post.

           Notifications: Check website regularly; you’ll also get alerts via SMS/Email and newspapers.

           Exam city: Haridwar only (select Haridwar in the application centre field).
